Né à la Réunion, Rawb a grandi dans un vivier artistique et musical métissé. Cette culture tropicale, combinée avec un goût prononcé pour les musiques jamaïcaines et le hip hop aura forgé son identité : un reggae moderne chanté en anglais, qui valide une recette étonnante empreinte de fraîcheur et de maturité.

C’est en 2017, après avoir pointé une dernière fois à l'usine, qu’il fait son sac, attrape sa guitare et prend un aller-simple pour Paris. En écumant les jams et open-mics de la capitale, il commence son aventure musicale et y rencontre Trka qui devient ingénieur du son, beatmaker et DJ du projet. Ensemble, ils produisent et réalisent un EP, puis plusieurs clips qui lancent leur collaboration.
Dans leur labo parisien ils façonnent un reggae moderne dans la lignée des français Jahneration, Naâman et Biga Ranx et inspiré par les Damian Marley, Protoje et consort.

Le premier album du duo « The Beachfront » verra le jour en 2021. Il est accompagné de nombreux clips qu'ils ont aussi réalisés eux-mêmes et qui traduisent leur soif d’apprendre, de progresser et de s’épanouir. Mais surtout une belle manière d’affirmer leur indépendance.

Born in Reunion Island, Rawb grew up in an artistic and musical background. This tropical culture and an attraction for Jamaican music and hip hop leads his identity: a modern reggae in English, kind of mix between novelty and maturity.

In 2017 he left his factory job and took a one-way ticket to Paris. In the capital he joined jams and open-mics and began his musical adventure. He met Trka who became sound engineer, beatmaker and DJ for the project. Together, they produced an EP, a lot of video clips which built their strong collaboration.
In their Parisian lab, they shape a modern reggae in the tradition of the French singers Jahneration, Naâman and Biga Ranx and strongly inspired by Damian Marley, Protoje and the other jamaicans.

The duo's debut album "The Beachfront" will be released in 2021. They will add several videos produced by themselves. this reflects their desire to learn, to progress and to thrive. Certainly a great way to assert their independence.
